Apple pie BOMB. I get baked apples dusted with cinnamon on the nose, palate and finish. It’s quite enjoyable. I heavily prefer the 20 year to the 23. This is just a fantastic bourbon, no two ways about it. You couldn’t ask for any more. Not to say it’s the best bourbon i’ve ever had, but it’s certainly in the running. Regardless, you can find pours just as good if not better for much, much cheaper, but if I were to find one at MSRP, it would be an insta-buy (and drink!). For $1500, there’s no way that this is worth it. If you’re going to pay secondary on a pappy, go with old rip van winkle.
