Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year

2015 release: stone fruits and cinnamon on the nose. more jam and cinnamon on the tongue. definitely hits the sweet spot for age. not too woody. very tasty, for a wheated bourbon.

Chewy and dense, much better with a chocolate dessert.

Tried all Pappy Van Winkles on flight in Frankfurt Kentucky. The 15 was my second favorite out of four (neat) and by far the most and strongest flavors. Drank it neat, but I bet a dash of water or ice cube would make it delicious and perhaps the best of the pappys. Got an empty bottle to take home!
