Reviewed October 31, 2022 (edited November 1, 2022)Best tasting “young” bourbon the market. I get a very sweet honey note from nose to finish. It is a steep price point, but I’ve seen it quite reasonable at $65 which I am OK at compared to other bottles at that price and the sweet mash process they use. I do get a nice cherry note on the finish … not medicinal, but a marichino style. I really like it.65.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed October 25, 2022 (edited November 11, 2022)Neck pour. Rested neat in a glen for 15. Nose: predominantly burnt brown sugar and maple pancakes. One of the nicest, sweetest nose bourbons I’ve smelled to date. Palate: immediately sweet vanilla, raisins, rye pops a bit Finish: cinnamon / red hots, skewing a little towards an allspice; pleasant heat at the end with faint barrel char Thoughts: I’ve been wanting to try this for a while (have heard great things about their Double Oaked variety). I realize it’s coming in young with NAS (claimed to be at ~4 years), but this is kind of difficult to justify at its price point.69.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed October 20, 2022 (edited May 31, 2023)Took a field trip to Louisville during a recent camping trip, and wound up with a few new whiskeys! Peerless is such a cool place, and they’re making some great stuff there. Citrus on the nose and palate, along with some cinnamon-sugar. More of the same on the finish. An excellent pour. 5/27/23 - Went on another field trip, this time from Charlestown State Park, and spent the day on the Louisville leg of the KBT. Picked this bottle up, and a few others, following our tasting at the distillery. Pricey, but Peerless is distilling some excellent whiskey.80.0 USD per BottleClifty Falls State Park -
