Penelope Barrel Strength Bourbon (Batch 6)

Flaviar Advent Calendar: cinnamon, wood, fruit, orange, caramel. Taste: grain forward, mild sweetness but quite spicy. Interesting but don't need to revisit

It's a bourbon.

First sniff has a strong spicy citrus notes with a smoky barrel finish. First taste starts spicy from the grain bill will a smooth caramel and orange notes leaving a spicy tobacco favor lingering at the finish.

Solid, but could use a little more time in barrel. I get pepper spice and some fruit, but the abv hug is pretty raw

Nose of lightly burnt Carmel. Definite Carmel taste. Nice to sip.
