Plantation Original Dark Double Aged Rum

Classic molasses, brown sugar and clove with other spice. I'd say straight down the middle. Not complex enough to be a true sipper

Rated 3.5, enjoyed straight, on ice & mixed cocktails, Dark & Stormy. I wished it was richer, deeper. 5.0 - Near perfect, there is something truly special about this whisky. 4.5 - Amazing, will always try to keep a bottle of this in my collection (if feasible). 4.0 - Very Good, maybe only one minor nitpick about the whisky keeping it here. 3.5 - Good, quite enjoyable to drink. 3.0 - Solid, wouldn't go out of my way to get it. 2.5 - Meh, still drinkable.

Fourth tasting of the evening. 1/2 bottle. Obsessive radish taste! And taste of rubbing alcohol. The taste of aged sweet urine in French oak barrels of cource. The alcoholic burning sensation in taste and aftertaste. Lots of wood and tannic notes. If you do not know in advance, then the taste of cognac is very difficult to feel.
