I enjoyed this, and it made a great mixer for old fashioneds and manhattans. The rye is a little abrasive and overwhelming, but the undertones are nice.

Smooth but a little thin and a bit more barely than normal

Very long finish, well balanced, great neat or as a sazerac

Nose of fresh mint and rye bread Palate of mint tea, clove and oak tannins but with a creamy texture Finish has a black pepper sparkle and is medium to long with the oak lingering
