SIA Scotch

Initial notes of apple. Sweet and bright blend. There is not much burn. added a drop of water and the texture turned buttery, bordering on oily. It was not as sweet. Added one ice cube to cool it down and it was better than with just water, but my favorite taste was neat, no water.

SF craft spirits festival 2018 Light nose, sweet

A very well-balanced blended scotch! Citrus, toffee, and smoked creme brulee notes are prominent on the palate. Very enjoyable!

Not as smooth as I expected. It is a $50 bottle of scotch though, so I can’t expect much. The Creme Brûlée notes are very strong which I liked. Wasn’t a huge fan of the finish though.
