Slane Irish Whiskey

It wants to be complex, but I feel like some of the flavors just aren't coming through. I get a spicy malty smell, then a sweet creamy flavor, with some salt and citrus, vanilla. Then it just ends. Very very smooth.

Updating after another tasting. Nose was mostly liquor but also some rich chocolate with some light smoke. Flavor was malty with hints of salt and rich smoke but not enough to overcome. Dark cocoa and nutty mid palate.

Spicey in the beginning, becomes sweet. Notes of burnt sugar in the finish.

Really smooth mouth feel with a smoky, woody taste. Vanilla and slight sweetness
