Smooth Ambler Contradiction

So good! Sweet and spicy. Caramel on the nose. Sweet up front, then spice kicks in and mellows out to a spicy candy?

I’ve had this many times and think this is an underrated bourbon considering the price. As I sip it after a couple of other decent pours it really holds its own. It really doesn’t stand out on the palate, but there isn’t anything off-putting at all. I do really enjoy the leathery cinnamon finish.

Good sipper. Smooth and easy drinker. Some spice but wheat comes through. Solid juice

Sweet in the right way. Oaky and pairs well with a spicy cigar.

Full, rich, spicy finish. Excellent on the nose.
