Stagg Jr Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 1

I miraculously got a case of this one day a few years ago when the LCBO let their guard down. It is without a doubt my favourite bourbon, and possibly favourite whisky, of all time. Those that describe it as cherry coke are bang on. It’s just got that sweet syrupy taste with strong wood and proof tastes coming through. If you can get a bottle, don’t hesitate for a second.

Had at McClellan's. Great pour, a definite buy if I ever see it.

Lot of cherry up front with honey and oak. Finishes sweet and spicy and goes down really warm. Take tiny sips to avoid the barrel proof burn.
