Talisker Distillers Edition

Nose: cherry, bitter orange, earthy grass, sweet and spicy. Palate: sweet, malty cereal, hot on the tongue, vanilla, maple, long finish.

Not impressed. Sits behind the 18 and 10 on my list of favorite Talisker. Some sweetness and quite dry. Not enough of that Talisker brine and smoke for me. Even tastes younger than the 10...needs to mellow more in the bottle, maybe. Hopefully some air will do it some good. Better than 3 stars....but barely. 3.25 stars.
