Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year

Lovely stuff. Sweet, smooth, vanilla.

Sweet on the nose, with vanilla, baked apple, honey, and a complex leather and coffee note. Relatively sweet on the palate, with heather notes upfront, along with a whisp of smoke, and continued apple, leather, and tea, with decent tannicity. Beautiful scotch, though the sweetness borders on being syrupy with little balance restraint it. Still good.

Typical speyside single malt. All the sweet flavors are prominent. Almost no smoke. Not too much bite. Very easy to drink.
