So this is a classic! I managed to get my hands on an old bottling. Similar to Glenfiddich 18 but a bit darker, more Sherry influence. One of the best value 18 year olds out there. 94

on the nose it's whatever: super oaky Evan Williams-ish with a touch of toffee, but saved by the swig... spicy smoothness with mild peat and smoother oaky flavor, leaving you thirsty for more.

Sweet and smooth with a long finish

Tastes like highland park 12 except the peat taste (or spicy) is more rounded. Not bad.
