Quite "bright", sweet, fruity overtones dominate with hints of fig & orange peel. A good depth & complexity to keep you coming back again and again. VERY pairable with a fine cigar. DEFINITELY worth trying in a fine steakhouse, and if agreeable, purchase bottle to take an honored place in your bar collection.

The best example of whisky aged in ex-sherry casks. Intense dark stone fruit notes. I am not sure if I enjoy the intensity of the whisky or the intense memories it conjures. A summer of cribbage, cigars, whisky, and business by a fire with my grandfather, the day he passed, the death of my grandmother. This whisky is both beautiful and painful for me.
