The Sassenach Blended Scotch

I was pleasantly surprised by the richness and quality of this blend-- one of the best blends I've found. The nose is rich, sweet, fruity and malty. The palate has layers of honey, fruit, and just enough spice to make it interesting. I would have a hard time distinguishing this from a nice Highland whisky and in fact it reminds me of Loch Lomond which is a personal favorite distillery. I will definitely keep this in my cabinet.

Floral and fruity on the nose. Pretty smooth. A wee harsh on the after taste. I think it's a very good scotch.

Fruity on the nose. Honey and clove with a strong spice finish. Perfect for sharing and fellowship. New everyday favorite

I don’t get much on the nose at all, maybe a little honey and a touch of hay. The taste is well rounded with sweet apple, honey, and a slight hint of salt. The finish is very fast and mostly sweet. Solid but not outstanding.
