Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Finish

Lots of red fruit in the nose. First taste is nice, red berries and smooth mouthfeel. Last medium long. When you add some water the party really gets starting. Real nice, going to buy it. Can drink at any occasion

The nose is ethanol and oak, not a whole lot going on. The palate has an immediate burst of stewed dark fruits, specifically tart sour cherry, but then it gives way to a burnt, bitter note that rides through the finish. It’s not overpowering, but it detracts from the experience.
