Very Old Barton 90 Proof Bourbon

Not a ton of taste or spice. Water

Sweet, like vanilla coca-cola, not particularly complex, certainly a good value if you come across it

Easy sipper, bananas come through for me, another solid entry level bourbon

Apples and fruit on the nose along with some sweet notes. Lots of caramel and butterscotch on the palate with more vanilla. Oak spice that fades fast and leaves a bit of dryness on the finish.

cant say this whiskey excites me all that much. but for the extreme low price of $13 u probably cant get a better deal of any spirit than this. it's hard to find--found it twice in 8 months....now, how does it taste? ok. a bit dry, and a little bit of funkyness. but a bourbon lover need not worry as he will be mostly satisfied......not as eloquent or bold as the good good stuff
