Widow Jane Decadence 10 Year

There is maple syrup on the nose, but it is far from overpowering, and you get vanila, caramel, baking spices, dark fruits, and oak shining through. The name absolutely fits. It is decadent with maple syrup coming through in waves along with vanilla and oak. This is the perfect dessert whiskey.

Good, but almost too sweet for me.

Aroma: maple syrup/brown sugar, fair amount of heat that opens up brilliantly to some baking spice. Flavor: sweet and really rich, molasses and oak finish it off. Overall: I was surprised at how much I liked this, it's sweet for sure but has a decent amount of oak and spice to bring a little balance
