Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Bourbon

nose- slightly floral, orange zest, vanilla, slight baking spice taste- orange/citrus, cinnamon, oily, caramel finish- medium, baking spice/peppery, earthy

almost a 5 star. I do love this stuff. great combination of spice with full taste and looked aftertaste.

Probably the best value in barrel-proof bourbon today. Lots of nutty goodness with that Wild Turkey spice. You have to be careful with this one, it’s easy to drink considering the proof.

This is a very drinkable barrel proof bourbon. Front end has something tart to it, so it may be a combo of fruit and mint, but the finish has the ever familiar spice and vanilla. There are some other layers, but I won’t pretend to have that good of a palate—I don’t. Let’s just say baking spices and caramel though. That seems to always do the trick.
