Reviewed June 15, 2021 (edited August 15, 2021)One of the most unique ryes I've tasted so far. Very strong raisin and dark cherry notes. Aroma of vanilla. The rye helps balance the sweetness. I don't get much of the oak, cinnamon or orange described above. If I had to pick one food it tastes like, it would be Sun-Maid Raisins. I normally strongly dislike the heavy stone fruit flavor but this is very very good to sip on. It's unique and something I probably won't taste again. I found it in store for $65 + tax. Definitely buy if you can find it for around $60-70 just for the unique flavor it rewards you with.65.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 10, 2021This literally tastes like black tea. Like, maybe I’m getting punked and it’s just black tea in the bottle. After a few pours and over a month open, it’s starting to taste like rye mixed with black tea. But still, too much tea for me.85.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 10, 2021 (edited March 30, 2022)Long week already and it’s only Monday. On the nose it smells like a fresh band-aid that’s been sitting in a cedar chest. On the tongue I initially think of black licorice or jelly beans that quickly fades to wtf!!...Who put pepper on my toast? At first sip I was ready to pour it in the toilet. I added four drops and let it sit for about 20 minutes......Oh baby!! For four years old this juice has personality. I get a finish of black berries and caramel. The water really opened it up. Rye whiskey isn’t my go to but this would def be one of my first grabs if found for under $50. Cheers to a prosperous week to you all.
