Writers' Tears Cask Strength (2019 Release)

I don’t usually drink Irish whiskey but this was different and a surprise. I bought because I am a bourbon fan and this being aged in ex bourbon casks.

A little bit of woody flavor like I’d expect from a scotch, with a heat that matches the proof. Under all that is a really good, complex flavor that’s there if you look for it.
