The Laphroaig PX Cask is an interesting and a more approachable member of the Laphroaig family. The nose is woody, smokey and has an overall sweet profile. The palate is rich and woody, with a dry mouthfeel. Long finish with tobacco, cherry, peat and spice. Not a daily drinker, but a nice addition to the lineup. "Tasty" : 3.25 stars | A cut above.
