Nose is nice a bit of alcohol burn at first then the vanilla and fruits and a little black cherry. Flavors take a bit of time to develop in the mouth but do emerge again as vanilla hints caramel and oak with some leathery tones. Finish is caramel with a nice lingering burn. Very surprised by this whiskey very enjoyable on the light side as most flavors are subtle but worth the effort. Great stuff!
