Nose less intense then Laphroaig 10 years. Smell peat, oak and weak smoke. Taste is enjoyable. Being new with Islay, that was not to out of what I'm used to compared to Laphroaig 10. Get a mixe of smokiness, peat and spice, no burn. Slightly medicinal taste and sweet at the hand pehap vanilla or caramel. Really enjoyable. Good one to ease in in peated whisky.
