This is a very good pour and I would never turn it down, but I'm just not feeling super peaty whisky as much as I used to. I do prefer the flavor profile of Laphroaig to Ardbeg.
Nose: Ash, orange, lemon, iodine, coastline, seaweed, and a Scottish pub in winter.
Palate: Ash, orange, iodine, sour notes, and salinity.
Finish: Long and it feels like I'm regurgitating an orange cigar.
Mouthfeel: I just wish it was a little more viscous.
