One of my favorite whiskeys to date. First nose was peat-forward in a subtle smoky way, unlike my experience with some Islays. Gave way to heavy vanilla and honey notes, wish it had a bit of saltiness to it to beef up flavor. Texturally, very oily and heavy in the mouth, which I prefer.
