Note is smoky and peaty but mild with a ocean smell. Less intense then Laphroaig 10. Taste pleasant got a mild smoke taste, some zest perhaps lemon with some fruity sweet that I can't really figure it out. Get that tingling on my tongue that I enjoy with peat scotch.the finish not lingering. The peat smoke is definitely there but it not challenging, perhaps a good introduction to peated whisky. Would most likely purchase again.
