Nose: iodine, medicine, bandaid, salt water, smoked meat, peat, wet wood. Reminds me Ardberg 10 but lighter. Light notes with fruits deep down. Some sweetness deeper, more after first sip. Palate: sweet, smoky, ash at start. Oily. No burn, pearl at the back. You just understand that's a smoky Islay whiskey. Finish: ocean, ash and smoke but in pleasant and bright way. Strong cigar aftertaste - but I'm enjoying it ( not a smoker myself). Sea breeze till the end of the day. Very pleased with the experience consider affordable price. I tried only two Islay whiskeys - this one and Ardberg 10 and I'm a fan so far. Laphroaig 10 compare to Ardberg is more salty and ashy at taste but nose is similar in some way. Definitely a keeper!
