On first nosing, I sensed a rubber-cement or glue adhesive quality and very little else. On arrival, pepper, rye with the corn sweetness. The palate was rewarded where the nose was not. Two different sensations that confuse. As you continue, the soft texture with the sweetness and rye finishes slightly oaky. Overall, a decent whiskey. However, my sampling was small and need to revisit. I am unsure if it is worthy of an $80+ price tag, but definitely worth a try. [87/100][Tasted: 7/10/15].

Sounds like you need to decant the Bourbon before you drink it.
