Invergordon 30 Year Old 1988 (cask 13575) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Single Grain — Highland, Scotland

Nose: Acetone & furniture polish. Sweet cigar smoke. Light summer berry fruit.
Palate: Sweet coffee, absinthe / aniseed. Oak & vanilla fudge. There is a lovely buttery mouthfeel. Maple syrup.
Finish: Coats the mouth beautifully. There are notes of baked spices, leather, tobacco and more of the berries hinted at on the nose (strangely absent on the palate).
A smooth, mouthcoating and decadent dram. Lovely!
