Nose: Sweet and smokey with a meatiness there too. Some brininess as well mixes with fresh cut green apples. This is smoothed out by a nice vanilla note.
Palate: Woodsy spices with smoked sea salt take the lead. Just a touch of peat and more fresh cut green apple, but it's subtle. A sweetness rounds things off as you get to the finish.
Finish: Oily and long the woodsy spice lingers not unlike that of a gingerbread cookie, more zing than “spicy”.
Lovely dram!
