Tried this for the first time in a cigar bar with great selection and prices. My notes are obviously affected by all the cigar smoke, but I tried not to dwell on that too much.
Nose - bright tropical fresh and tangy fruit, some tobacco and leather, dark sherry fruits with caramelized sugars, orange peel or maybe oak tannins providing a bit of bitterness, a hint of ripe banana by
Palette - slightly thick, rich and fruity but not overly sweet, not really getting any vanilla or caramel, maybe some brown sugar, more citrus sharp sweetness tempered by a slight bitterness, a tiny bit of a savory note
Finish - rich fruit and dark sugars linger a long time on the back of your tongue, tiny amount of bitterness at the very end, slightly strong but very pleasant burn
