This is honestly one of the smoothest scotch’s I’ve tasted. On the nose i found hints of honeyed apple with a nice sherry sweetness and a bit of smoke. Full and rich flavours on the palate. I get hints of apple, honey, brown sugar, oak and sherry (from the casks) and a toasted nuts. The flavours are straight forward so you don’t need to think too hard and wonder what notes you are getting. It’s smooth and buttery, full of flavour and not harsh at all. As you let it sit in your mouth and coat the palate you definitely notice some smoke but very pleasantly cut through by the sweet flavour of the honey and apple. It is creamy, smooth and an easy scotch to drink. Definitely would buy this !
