A lemon tart thrown on a campfire
Nose: smoke, oil, whiteboard marker, pine resin
Taste: sharp and salty, oily texture, billows of smoke to the fore in the mouth, sweet fruity notes – lemon and lime
I’m gonna say something. Nothing too weird - just wanna announce my opinion on something. Most likely you won’t be startled by this disclosure. It’s a fairly standard standpoint. A predictable position that many share. This is good whisky.

@CKarmios yep, spot on 😀
Only reason this is a 4.0 is that you’re saving the .5 for Uigie, perhaps the .25 for Corry..."
@PBMichiganWolverine Nah, I’m fairly familiar with the 10yo and I have another full bottle on the shelf. I joined an online tasting of four Ardbeg which included a sample of this and so provided me with the opportunity to put up some notes as I never reviewed it on here.
This is such a staple, I’m shocked you’re having this after 274 other ones
