Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Very Fine Rare Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Nose - Toffee, brown sugar, light dried berries, grain, pine and juniper, heavy rye spice
Palate - Strong bitter oak, grainy and dusty rye spice, brown sugar, light toffee, very dry and tannic. Long oily finish with bitter tannic oak and hint of burnt sugar.
Tried this at Alley Twenty Six during their Whiskey Wednesday where pours of the chosen whiskey are at cost. I'm glad I got to try this here instead of buying a bottle for $130. It is horribly overpriced, I'd rather drink standard Woodford Reserve. At some point bourbon is overaged and over-oaked, this is a prime example.

@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington Don't cry for me, cry for those who buy a bottle.
Sorry to hear this pour came up short. It’s definitely gotten plenty of press, which is Chris Morris forte. I’m a fan of their batch proof and double-double oaked but their prices are all steep.
