Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2021 FAE-01

Just bought this tonight. Quick hit review, it's really freaking good. Maybe my favorite Maker's Mark yet, it's hard to put down this glass at the moment. Rich cherries and berries, plums, molasses, crème brulee, tobacco, sweet oak, it has it all. Big complex nose but creamy fruity oak on the tongue. Highly recommend picking one up.

@WhiskeyLonghorn Or a future Booker's release
Tickle my tongue. New band name. Called it.
@WhiskeyLonghorn Well I'm a Maker's fan so these wood finishing releases really tickle my tongue.
Sounds tasty. I've been kinda meh on Makers over the years, but this one sounds worthy of a pickup.
@jonwilkinson7309 There are two this year, FAE-02 which is probably coming early summer. On the bottle it says what they're going for with each release this year.
Why did I think we were still months away from the 2021 release? For some reason I thought these hit mid-year. Exciting!
