All I tasted was smoke— then someone said “salt” and I tasted salt. Now I think it’s salty. This was my first “good” scotch. Loved it so much I’ve bought multiple bottles— will note I have detected some variance from bottle to bottle. But, please, take what I say with a grain of salt.
