Nose: caramel, apples, fresh rain, pepper, banana pudding, dusty books, lemon zest,
Taste: melted caramel, pepper, citrus, chocolate covered banana, fruit filling, finishing with a waxy condensed milk.
More: this whiskey is one of the most complex I've ever had (and I've had a LOT of whiskey) every time I go back I find something new. It is also one of the most oily whiskies with a finish that goes for days. I must say I was skeptical of it with a $100.00 price tag and lots of big talk coming from the distillery, but I am happy to report that what's in the bottle lives up to the hype.
