Back to back with Lagavulin 16, and you can taste the difference in those 4 years. Less fruit, less wood, but more iodine, more gasoline and seaweed, wonderful peat presence, it's a great expression of the style just with a little less depth than Lagavulin, still a great go-to for a more mature peat than, say, Ardbeg or Laphroaig
