Brilliant. 42 casks (35 bourbon and 7 Sherry) between 1996 and 1992, youngest whisky here is 22 years old.
Nose: Raisins, Honey, Toffee, Pineapples, Guava, Mangoes, Sultanas, Bananas, Coconuts, Creme Brûlée, Walnuts, Almond Shortbread Cookies, Papayas, Cinnamon, Dark Chocolate, Oranges, Pecan Pie
Palate: Raisins, Grapefruits, Toasted Honey, Dark Chocolate, Banana Bread, Walnuts, Oranges, Nutmeg, Ginger, Cinnamon, Toffee, Vanilla, Pineapples, Chili
Finish: Raisins, Dates, Toffee, Toasted Vanilla, Figs, Cherries, Caramel, Brown Sugar, Oranges, Grapefruit, Walnuts, Almonds, Cinnamon

@PBMichiganWolverine Tried Tun 1858 Batch 1 in June 2019 drammers event ny palace hotel rooftop Balvenie suite. That one was legendary, aged 37-46 years in 3 Sherry casks and 6 bourbon casks.
@worldwhiskies95 oh, i didn’t realize there was another Tun series. That of course will be silly priced now. Did you attend the tour and tasting yesterday?

Tun1401 are legendary —i think they just failed to replicate that 1401 magic in the 1509. Then again...those vintages in 1409 are over 30-40 yr...that’ll do it
