Barrel No: 9737 | Barrelled 11/17/2010 Poured neat. Looks like someone liquidized the amber from Jurassic Park into my glass. Caramel, orange peel, bailed hay on the nose with a pop of bubble gum. Palate leads with warm caramel drizzled over pine needles. A nice Tabasco heat rolls on quickly, bringing notes of oak, shortbread cookies and toasted brown sugar. Each sip gives you the Kentucky hug you would expect from a 100 proof bourbon. Tobacco and spiced oak make for a pleasant finish. Very difficult to find in my area but I won't hesitate to pick up another bottle if/when I see it again.
