On the nose, clove, spices, and dried fruit shine through. On the palate, prominent notes of toffee, cloves, wood, and bubble gum come out unashamed. Finishing notes of bold bitter smoke remain in the palate for a prolonged period. This is not bad for the price. Sharp and strong notes and not smooth or rounded. A few more years of aging would've helped. But again for the price if you like bold whiskeys, the boldness of this will keep coming.
