Poured neat. Rich but slightly metallic nose oozing with toffee, malty grains, and burnt out campfire.
Oily mouth feel that leaves a first impression of a maple doughnut. Peppered leather jumps in mid-palate and fades into a malty tobacco and caramel finish.
Originally bought as a 375ml and now wishing I would have sprung for the regular sized bottle. I don't mind standard Jameson, but this is a much more enjoyable pour.
