Bottle just says "Made with Agave" signifying that it's not 100% agave and thus not a real tequila. It advertises itself as an inoffensive, affordable mixer but I'll be honest, it's smell is absolutely pungent. It smells like bad agave, ethanol and some weird chemical flavor I cannot put my finger on but which I also sense in bottom shelf vodka like Vitali. The smell alone almost made me gag.
Surprisingly it doesn't taste nearly as foul as its smell. Don't get me wrong it doesn't taste good or even mediocre but I didn't want to immediately spit it out. The best way I can describe the taste is that it straight up tastes like someone diluted Jose Cuervo Silver in water which works in its favor because at least it doesn't pack the punch of raw Cuervo. I'm sure I can throw it into a margarita and get something close to those horrid premixes they sell so you know, I guess this bottle has a purpose. But really, if you're looking for cheap "tequila," why not just get Sauza? It's also industrial crap but at least it doesn't taste like watered down Cuervo and its smell won't be as offensive. I'd say stay away.
