I opened this bottle a few months ago, and I wasn't overly impressed. Revisiting it now I'm enjoying it a bit more, but still not in love with it. I do pick up more sweetness this go round, and it has a nice viscous mouth feel. Not much spice, but a good amount of alcohol heat. Lots of leather notes and a fair amount of bitter woodiness. These are the flavors that linger in the aftertaste too. I do enjoy the regular version of Larceny, but the barrel proof is just not a favorite for me.
