Light sugar aroma on the nose, not horribly strong or complex smelling. First sip was light and smooth classic bourbon flavor but not very sweet or super maple sugar. Lower ABV makes this have a nearly non existent ethanol taste which is nice. Lights up the tip of the tongue on the finish with barrel notes and hints of roasted peanut or tree nut. More of a woody and less sweet bourbon. Would describe this flavor profile as pleasant but “skinny”. It still has more flavor than the LongBranch wild turkey, but not as rich or maple flavored as some other bourbons.
