Nose: classic rye, spicy, bready, hint of chocolate and pepper. Taste: not sure how creamy and spicy work together, but they do. The proof gives it a definite kick, but it goes down much easier and richer than it should. Notes of cherry and chocolate accompany the rye spice with a forward finish. Impressions: heck yeah. I'm big into rye right now, so that may be influencing my palate, but this is a nice balanced pour. Looking forward to another one.
