The nose is a nice light grain with a dab of honey. A tinge around the edge, like a box of spices had walked past the barrel during maturation. Spice definitely grows the longer it sits in your glass but never overpowers. The palate taste is young and a little rough, with a moderate campfire smoke poking through. There's a light fruit on the finish after the smoke clears, apple or pear. Strong wood notes with a larger swallow. A little too young and raw, it doesn't feel put together. Would like to know what this is like with a few more years of maturation.
