Nose is strong, rich, sweet, and dense Dried dark fruit, wood, rubber. Old leaves and a dustiness comes out after a few minutes. Palate is strong and rich sweetness. Dark fruit that is dried and the sugars condensed, poured over old varnished wood and well worn leather. Some medicinal iodine notes too. Every part of this dram is dark and rich. The finish is long and oily. Sweet woody notes with iodine. Some water opens it up with a lighter sweetness, but I honestly prefer it at the denser ABV.
