The nose presents with the sweet scent of stone fruits, honey, and sherry. There is a layer of smoke underneath reminiscent of charred white oak barrels used for aging bourbon. There is just the just the barest hint of vanilla. The sherry and fruit create an almost floral experience.
On the palate, the whiskey leads with a sweet floral taste. It transitions into honey and smoke, with some spice. The finish consists of toffee and the barest breath of oak casks.
Absolutely delicious.
